About Tanya Russell

Tanya Russell has become well known over the last 30 years for her life-like and vibrant dog sculptures. Many have been sculpted to raise money for Battersea dogs and cats home, others have been commissioned by individuals. Her new range of small animal sculpture have been lovingly hand built and inspired by respect for animals great and small. Tanya’s love of nature and questions about how an artist works with nature without impacting or destroying it, has led to a series of nature intervention photographs.
Tanya Russell ARBS is the founder and Principal of The Art Academy and author of ‘Modelling and Sculpting the Figure’. She has completed many public and private commissions nationally and internationally, including 4 large public commissions in London. Tanya exhibits across the country, most recently at the Chelsea Flower Show 2015.

Dear Peter

Just to say how thrilled and delighted we are with our recent sculpture purchased through Art Parks online – “When I Saw You” by Kay Singla (a truly gifted artist and wonderful person).

Once again, our buying experience has been absolutely first class – both in our dealings with you and Sarah at Art Parks and with the individual sculptors directly.

As you may remember, we have previously bought sculptures via your website ... [Read more]
